My gawd this thing is loud, as in ear right next to blow dryer or vacuum cleaner loud. I had a 60mm Black Label Delta before (~47db IIRC) but this thing absolutely kills it. It drowns out the window AC unit in the room fer cryin out loud!
But it did drop the temps on my mobile 2600+ at least 10C, at load it got up to 64C with a 40C ambient with a 44cfm 92mm fan. Now it's topping out at 51.5C with same ambient.
I don't plan on using it full blast though, once I figure out the max overclock on my cpu I'm hooking this puppy up to my Sunbeam rheobus.
