What HSF should I get? (read details inside first)

I have a SLK 800 + Vantec tornado in my computer right now.

2100+ (1.87ghz or whatever) @ 2100 mhz @ 35C under load


I have a second system that has an old 750mhz Duron in it with a volcano II hsf.


I just ordered a Barton 2500+ And i plan on using that in my first system with the slk800 etc, what hsf should I get for the second system? If a slk800 can get it down to 35C under load, I would settle for any cheaper HSF that could keep it below 50C under load.


Any suggestions?



Edit: The barton Im getting is retail so it will come with a HSF, will that suffice for the 2100+ to keep it under 50C? I plan on applying A silver 3.

Your retail HSF from Barton should work just fine on your second system.

the retail hsf should keep it in the low to mid 40's

retail hsf keeps it at 50 🙁 and thats not even overclocked as far. booo!
