I want to moderately overclock, nothing too big, maybe 30% or so, from 1.8ghz to 2.2 or so

I'd try the retail heat sink before spending money on a third party one. It's not that bad.

Oh, and this is really a cooling thread.

I have a CoolerMaster HHC-001 with a lower speed fan atop my Barton 2500...

works great!

I hate to be anal, but don't we have a forum practically dedicated to this kind of thing?

I've still got the stock fan on that thing. Boy is it annoying. Need to pick up a ThermalRight SLK800/900 ASAP.

Why yes, yes we do, but people are so impatient now of days, they want answers NOW like 10 milliseconds ago.

But stick with the factory HS, I have the 2700+ and got it to 2.3 from 2.1(2.068) and it runs cool.

I use the Vantec AeroFlow. It works great and its not too big.
