That would be my guess... don't think it is a prelude they are too low to the ground.. certainly not a Civic :)

I don't think it's a Prelude either, especially since they have a 6 cylinder version available (auto only :disgust: ).

The Type S model, however, adds 35 horsepower, stiffer suspension, and different instrumentation to provide visual cues to go with its increased testosterone. While the first generation CL was built on the Honda Accord platform, the new CL is built on the new TL, a considerably larger car. This makes the new CL about the same size as the late Legend Coupe, a car for which Acura has offered no replacement-until now.

It's still based on the Accord. This is why there is some confusion: The 98 CL was based on the 94-97 Accord, which is a compact. The 99+ CL is based on the 98+ Accord, which is a mid-size. The TL still uses the Accord platform (as does the Odyssey minivan).

So the TL is on the Accord platform also then?
Your are right mostly!

But now, Acura's countered the punch of the BMW 328i with a brand-new 3.2TL that's swift, stylish, and a great value, too. By switching to a different platform (a loose interpretation of the current V-6 Accord), expanding its track and length while enlarging the five-place passenger compartment to true midsize dimensions, Acura engineers have created a strong contender in the executive-sedan class
