What higher-performance (or higher price/performance) SKUs are we going to see for AM4 socket?

Just thinking about upgrading my Ryzen 5 1600 CPUs, and then thinking, well, there's not much higher to go in the product stack, so... I guess Zen2-based CPUs or APUs? 12nm refresh? 7nm next-gen?

If they come out with some 12nm refreshes, that still aren't APUs, but have, say, a 4.5Ghz fmax (or maybe 5Ghz?), that would be cool.

What DDR4 do you have paired with your R5 1600's?

They should be able to squeeze out a decent bump sticking with 12/14nm. I'm not up to date with the glofo fabs atm but I don't see them dumping those fabs for CPUs just yet.

And since AMD said AM4 will stick around to ~2020 I'm expecting at least one proper node shrink for the AM4 CPUs also.

What DDR4 do you have paired with your R5 1600's?

Some Team Group RAM, DDR4-3000, but it won't run stable on my AB350M Pro4 at anything higher than 2667. I can boot on one of the machines at 2800, but then I get silent appcrashes, and in fact, I had to re-install.
