What headphones do you use with your IPOD and how do you like them?

I'm getting an IPOD for XMAS so I need to get some good cans. What do you guys use and how do you like them?

Sennheiser MX-500's which I carry everywhere and are really portable. I also use my Koss KCS-35's when I want great sound while still being portable. Then I also use Sony V6's when I want to block out sound and portability really isn't a factor.

Senn's, no question.

I have the 570's and they rock..then again they are 590's...they are silver if that helps😕

I disagree. The Sennheiser MX-500's are good for earbuds and are only $15. The Koss 35's are $30 but are arguably one of the best headphones for under $100, and they blow the MX-500's out of the water.

Now if you were to step up to Goosemasters 570's or higher to the 580's or 600's then they are much better than the Koss or Senn's. Then again those cans are much higher priced and aren't as easily driven by the ipod. You would need a headphone amp.

The MX-500s are earbuds, though, and don't sound as good as the cans. I love my KSC-50s. 😀

The 5xx...whatever it is I have, is one of the three best ampless headphones. The other too contendors are the Grado sr60s, and the Sony v60(?).

The Grado's are actually superior, but are open phones, so EVERYONE will hear you. Not exactly airplane-material. The Sony's are ok too, but once again, the Grado's are the best.

Sony<Sen's<Grado

the ksc35 kick ass for going around the house or other personal quiet environment...i fugging hate using them in public now because theyre too clumsy to wear/carry and u cant hear with alot of background noise. px200 are much better for that cause because they have better build and are closed... mx500 is for ultra portability but i havent used mine in forever..just dont sound as impactful as px200
