Cancelled our trip to Disneyland in April. We just got annual passes when we went back in Feb too. They're extending the expiration dates to the end of March 2021 I think, maybe more depending on how long they have to close.

Just retired.
Great not having to decide whether or not to go to work, but sure sucks not even being able to go out to eat or to a movie.

We were going to Boston for a week next Friday. Bought everything Jan 9th, non refundable. Hoping there is something official that comes down so I can at least move my flight out a year or so.

Crime spree. Everyone is home and heavily armed. Even the possible booty of a truckload of TP and sanitizer isn't worth the risk.

We usually get a bunch of guys together and play basketball on Saturdays this time of the year. That seemed like a bad idea, so it's cancelled for a while. A friend and I are going out to play tennis tomorrow morning instead. That's a lot safer, you never have to get within 50 feet of each other.

Nothing major or expensive, had a small family trip planned in Sudbury as one of my nephews had a hockey tournament. We were going to make it an Easter weekend thing.

Also Church is cancelled until further notice, but I work shifts so half the time I'm not there anyway.

I had a trip to NYC and DC scheduled from March 14 to March 21. In NYC we had tickets to they Harry Potter plays, Mean Girls, Book of Mormon, Top of the Rock, Statute Of Liberty Crown Reserve. In DC we had an approved White House tour. We also had a tour of the Capitol building.

We were taking our two exchange students. Not only was our trip cancelled. Now our exchange students are being recalled home 3 months early. Which also cancels our trips ton San Fransisco and Las Vegas/Grand Canyon. The other two trips we were taking with them before they were going to go back at the end of June.

Fortunately we were given complete refunds for everything on the NYC/DC trip. The exceptions are for Amtrak and Spirit Airlines. For those we were given travel credits. Spirit gave the full amount. Amtrak charged $58 In cancellation fees. As for the other trips I was originally going to book the airfare this week. Thank god I didn’t book it before shit the ran. As then I would have to eat more travel credits for our exchange students. I’m going to lose about $750 in Spirit vouchers From the NYC/DC trip because they are tied to their name.

My wife’s and I‘s Alaska cruise is most likely canceled since it is July 3.

I’d say our Christmas cruise is likely a goner as well. I’m also not holding my breath for our two European cruises next summer.

I’ll probably at best get two $500 Future credits for Alaska and Christmas. I didn’t pay a deposit on the ones for 2021. So I’m probably out $58 for Amtrak, $1000 for Royal Caribbean and the vouchers I won’t be able to use on Spirt for my two exchange students since they are tied to them. That’s $750. So I’m likely out about $1808. Could have been much worse.

The worst part of all of this is our exchange student having their exchange year being ended 3 months early.

I haven't had to cancel anything yet but I can't plan trips because of this virus. And I miss eating at my favorite sushi restaurant. I can make pretty much everything else at home but sushi is different. I could go for some sushi right now...

My hospital appointments have all been postponed. Probably they've postponed them to a a point when things will be even worse, so they'll postpone them again!

My dentist wanted to cancel my appointment, but I argued them back around (I need this tooth fixed!). I think they are trying to stop seeing patients for a while. I better make sure I don't so much as clear my throat in the waiting room, or they'll probably throw me out. Got to turn up looking like the healthiest man in the world, which is hard for me as I always look a bit ill.

(Of course, I might catch it from _them_)

I didn't cancel, but these were cancelled on me.

Dental cleaning. The office called, they are seeing emergencies only and cancelled my cleaning appointment.
A 5k mud run I had signed up for in May was cancelled.

Yeah, same here. I was planning on going to see the live taping of Battlebots in April, and then go to Disneyland with my wife and daughter after it was over.

The Battlebots taping got postponed, and Disneyland is closed until who knows when. Rats.

My daughter's birthday party was two weeks ago, so at least she got to have that.

1. Son's birthday party next weekend.
2. Mother in laws birthday party.
3. Wizards game last night.
4. Trip to Aruba in May (we never booked it but looking likely it ain't happening)

Things that we were invited to that were canceled.

1. Friends baby shower
2. Friends birthday celebration out at bars

We really lucked out with our timing on our trip to St. Thomas though. We were there from the 9th to the 16th and basically had we waited just one more week we probably would have canceled since things really seemed to get bad while we were in St. Thomas.

Put my Tinder account on No One Can View Me. Sort of like a cancellation. Can't go out to meet anyone here in CA (San Diego.) Although it's possible to by meeting for a grocery shopping date if the two don't live too far apart. But to stay within the rules both would have to be low on food before going out to a food store. Don't be envious, I haven't even had a Tinder date yet.

Now to be serious,,,,,,'
I have been asked to stay at home a long time before this happened in California!
I have a weak immune system and heart disease as well as serious breathing issues and diabetes!
My doctors contact me at least once a week to check on me and to see if I need anything!
Monday i will have my first appointment via the internet! Fortunately I can download all my blood sugar info nd sent it to my endocrinologist!
Then later in the week I will have another appointment via the internet with my Dietician!
My Chronic care manager gave me her personal cell number if I need anything so she is available 24/7!!
I don1t think I could ask for any more...

^ Well I'd be having pizza delivered every other day but can't because I get too much heartburn from it. But some pizza places deliver regular deli style sandwiches and salads so I can handle those.

My buddy just closed his sushi restaurant :(

Pretty much all of my restaurant clients are screwed right now. We 100% need a restaurant bailout.

Most companies are letting you move stuff, especially flights, even in nonrefundable cases. Even hotels - since some are being closed for now. You'll definitely want to look into that now.
---

Haven't had to cancel any personal trips yet; at the end of February, just before a 21-day window closed, I purchased some any-reason cancellation insurance for a trip we are planning to London in July. And I may have to cancel a trip to Seattle in May for my friend's wedding - kind of waiting to see how everything pans out before totally bagging those.

My mother-in-law was also recently house sitting in NYC for 2 weeks, and at the start of the March coronavirus stuff, we considered going down to visit, but halted any planning on that given the rapidly changing situation.
---
For work, a trip to Lithuania in April was cancelled, as the conference our client was going to host a symposium at was postponed until October.

Closed for good or just temporarily?

Don't know yet; I sure hope not. Probably depends on how long things go on for. I'd estimate it's going to be like this for two to three months, based on China's modeling.

They're not even doing takeout or delivery. Concerns about food safety, freshness, and availability of raw & frozen ingredients.
