some things I have gotten out of being in the AT community

1. met a really pretty girl
2. numerous kick ass deals from Hot Deals
3. advice, sometimes good, sometimes stupid and outrageous
4. relief of boredom
5. met some friends
6. being able to ask stupid questions and actually get some replies
7. occasionally some tech support on computer stuff

That's about it for now.

6) linuxboy making sure that whatever elements of philosophy I *do* understand seems like the tip of the philosphy iceberg
7) moonbeam making sure I wear the other shoe sometimes

It could easily go on and on. Those are some of the highlights. It's alomst like each person here is best at something, so all of us are best at everything.
