What have you bought because of commercials...

Back in the mid 90's a bought SimCity because of a commercial for Populous for the SNES.

Man SimCity Classic from the bargain bin was a...well..classic.

Good times.

One night I saw an ad for something called a Tree Lounge. I truly thought it was an SNL joke ad, and to determine whether it was real I ordered the free video (which had a large, large man saying some pretty funny things and some ladies in bikinis mounting this chair on a tree so people could hunt from it). Then I found out it is real and people in many parts of the country use them and find them quite normal... Sorry in advance to any hunters -- I just grew up in a different part of the country I did not buy the Lounge though

Usually I try to support local businesses I see ads for, if I need that type of service.

Saw the adverts when I was on holiday in the US, so when I got back to the UK and saw some in the supermarket, I had to get it.
Damn that stuff is tasty. Hard to find though

Heh, kinda like me. I bought a Nissan Titan because I was in the market for a truck and the commercials just sweetened the deal.
