What has twelve shaved legs and two hairy ones?

My group ride yesterday...

Fortunately, the racers were all on a "recovery" ride, so I didn't get dropped once. My first Tuesday night ride where that hasn't happened yet!

Progress is good.

Does shaving your legs really making that much of a difference for bike riders? I think they're using it just as an excuse to shave their legs.

Apparently for people who do that weird sprint biking on tracks, it does. I had a coach in HS for track who "claimed" that shaving his legs, as an alternative to one of those full body suits, helped him to get his times down.

Leg shaving is not for aerodynamics, it is to prevent a nasty road rash from getting even nastier from ingrown hair...
