I would like to record clips from my TV. I have both S-video and RCA outputs on my TV. I am not sure, but I believe I need a video capture card and a TV tuner maybe.

Questions:

1. Can I get this on one card? PCI type slot preferably
2. Which feature are important to get ?
3. Which brand/model is most popular/recommended ?

I will not be doing this professionally so I don't need professional quality equipment.
This card(s) would be installed in 'AMD Box' under System Rigs.

Thanks for any advice.

Can I get one that will pop into a PCI slot? The only one I found at newegg.com is this one link which is external and connects via USB.

Model or product link, please ?

Thanks

After some more research I am assuming this link is the product I need. Model # 100-703060 . Can anyone see anything I missed or this product will not do, which I listed above ?

Also, has anyone bought from pccdepot.com ? ...resellerrating.com is down...

Thanks

I also foung this one link at Staples for $30 more. I would have thought the two products are the same, but the boxes look a bit different, and also the price is a bit different.
