What hard drive for Sony Vaio PCG-GRT250

I want to upgrade the hard drive in my old Sony PCG-GRT250 laptop because the current hard drive only has 40GB capacity, which is obviously way too small.

I found this on ebay, which is ok, but I want to find out what type of hard drive I need so that I can look around for myself (especially on newegg or something like that). Does anyone know what hard drive type that laptop uses or a way to figure that out.

You're looking for a PATA IDE drive (often refered to as ATA-6 in the laptop world) to replace your 40GB model. Any of these drives will work with your Sony.
