What happens when you remote desktop into a computer with dual monitors?

I have my RDC options set to full screen (default), so when I connect to my dual-monitor work PC, it dumps all open windows into a fullscreen window on the machine I'm connecting from. VNC will give me a really wide window though.

yep, thats what happens to me as well...although sometimes i find, windows will get "hidden" on the second monitor, and i won't be able to see it till i maximize it.

nvidia has a tool that makes it act like one monitor, but when you maximize the window, it will maximize it across two monitors, and i hate that...but my guess is, with that setting in place, it will show both screens when you rdc

What does it do with any icons on the second screen?

Interesting...

And my second monitor isn't hooked up right now so I can't try. For some reason it won't boot with both monitors connected :(. I'm not here for tech support, but anyone know an obvious reason why that wouldn't work?

It crams them on to one screen. Desktop Sidebar seems to have fixed my problem of having to move my toolbars back to the second monitor after remoting in from home though. :)

Yup, windows get jammed into the one monitor. The resizing of the windows is not too badly done, either, so it's easy enough to reset things back to "normal" on the dual screen machine.
