I didn't mean to tease, but I had an emergency. Anyway, here are cliffs since most of you act like you can't read anyway.
Woman goes to hospital for a procedure, and is there for about an hour when suddenly someone comes in screaming at people to move their cars.
Woman was still getting dress so she didn't hear the whole story, but a nurse tells her she had better move her car because the street was flooding. Woman rushes outside because she didn't want to mess up her new shoes. She had no idea what she was in for, but she knew it was bad because the lobby of the hospital had water all over the floor.
Calling it bad was an understatement though, because as soon as she got outside she thought she walked smack into a hurricane. Water was everywhere!! It was pouring down rain, and the water was well up her leg. She started to go back in the hospital, but thought about her car, and decided to press on.
Huge mistake, because by the time she got to the street she had to cross to get to the car, the water was waste high!!! She started to freak at that point, but some men who were also going to their cars helped her move on.
By the time she got to her car, the water was over the hood. She yelled back at the guys who helped her earlier, because she couldn't get the drivers door open. One of the guys said let's try the passengers side, they did, and it opened!! However, water poured out of the car with a force so strong it knocked her down. She was near tears at that point, but she got up and got in, thinking the worst was over.
Boy was she wrong!! Suddenly she felt herself moving, and when she looked up she was!! She quickly closed the door, and prayed she didn't hit anything. All of a sudden she heard what she at first thought were gun shots, because she felt a sharp pain in her shoulder. When she opened her eyes though, she saw what happened. She was at her breaking point though, and sat there in tears helpless coughing from the powder in the air, trying to move the plastic curtain out of the way so she could get some air. She finally got a bit of luck when a group help bring the car to a stop, and got her out.
Here's a brief news story about the day. It doesn't do it justice though.
And I guess this was exactly cliffs after all, oh well.
