Yeah, pretty typical stuff. My favorite has to be the pilot (a full Colonel, and commander of the Air Wing) who clipped a building with his B-1 while on taxi to the runway leaving Bright Star '97. Did $300 million in damage to the plane, and essentially doubled the cost of the entire exercise (and bringing a few thousand guys over to Egypt for about a month of training ain't cheap).
Not only that, the plane was rendered unflyable, and you can't exactly stick it on a barge across the Atlantic. Needless to say, leaving a nuclear capable strategic bomber in a place like Egypt wasn't thought to be a good idea, so add on the cost of stationing a few dozen MPs on 24/7 guard of the aircraft, and a few months overtime for a few dozen techs to go over there and fix it, and you get the idea why that Colonel probably never got his General stars.
