Well i was just on a deserted street that is next to a neighborhood and I need to practice my launches. So I saw someone i know and stopped and said whats up. When I was done talking I ran the rpms up like 6 grand and dopped the clutch. It was loud as hell and I was like wtf i wanna see those tire marks.

So i did a u turn and came back. I asked my friend how big the marks were and then i realized there was a guy poking over his backyard wall. I was like oh shiyit and i drove away. I just talked to my friend and he said the guy told him he got my plate. So my question is, what can he do ? Can i get a ticket for what someone says or something ?
TIA

You keep doing that from above the red line and your not gonna have a transmission left to even get a ticket.

Ya got me. I wrote down the plate of a motorcycle that caused an accident, but when I call and ask what is going on, they say they can't talk about it. Ya got me.

They can't do anything unless a police officer was there and saw it.

The only thing a "normal" person can do if file a civil suit for disturbing their peace.

If there was a guy poking over his backyard wall, it really wasn't deserted then, was it?
Do yourself and everyone else a favor and practice your launches someplace truly 'deserted'.

You better hope that guy's not one of those people who feel the need to narc on everyone. I've ran into a hippie woman like that. If i ever see her again...

I meant deserted of cars, its wide and there was no one around. I guess I will go find another place to practice, but my area is pretty populated. Im hoping the guy just did that to make me not peel out or whatever near his house. Idk i guess Ill see what happens.

If that had been my backyard and I had kids who could have gotten out into harms way, I'd have probably gotten concerned and would have got your license number too.

A letter that says what ? Yea well thinking back on it, it prolly wasnt the best place to do it. Im not a wreckless driver or anything, and I respect people and kids and everything. I just hope he doesnt do anything with it. It is an out of state plate until about monday when i register it here. There arent that many contour svts out here so i went to Cali to pick one up for a good price.
btw there is like an 8 foot wall and some plants and sidewalk and stuff between me and the houses/kids.

Hey, I love racing and hot cars as much as the next guy. My issue is that we live on a 25mph street. That does not stop people from racing thru at 50-60mph. They've needlessly killed people's pets. Someday it may be someone's child! All I ask, is please do this only where and when appropriate. ;)

sounds good to me

btw the street i did it on was not 25 mph limit, i usually go 20 or so on those. There are absolutely no house on the street, just the backs of houses with 8 foot walls) and also, i only went 40 tops because it was just practicing my launch, i wasnt trying to do a quarter mile or anything.
