What happens when no Apt # is entered?

So I was expecting a package yesterday from Fedex, and when I didn't come I went to the order page to see if there were any problems..and lo and behold the only thing listed under address is the address of my apt building, with no apt # listed.

I emailed the company of the situation..But where will the package go now?

possibly to the apt. office, or maybe to the local post office.

When that happens in the apartment complex I live in they'll usually take it to the office.

It happens a lot at my apartment, since our street name is too damn long and the apartment number gets cut off.

Luckily I have some good apartment managers who will look up who its addressed to and put it in the right mailbox/leave slip so they come pick it up.

I checked the tracking # at Fedex and got..

Once in a while I get other people's stuff in the mail because I'm at apartment #1. We have no managers here, and the mailman assumes #1 is where the manager is.

Incorrect address 

Contact the local Fed Ex office and see if you can intercept it before it gets returned.

FedEx has already realized that there is a problem and did not leave it anywhere.
