what happens to UNDELIEVERED PACKAGES thru USPS?

i reside in Canada, had a package that was suppose to be delivered to me from Cali using USPS GLOBAL PRIORITY

But the guy messed up on the address so now it has been over 2 weeks and i havent receved anything.

i contacted my local post office and the guy told me that most probably it is on its way back to the SENDER.

do u guys know how long it takes for the pacel to be sent back to the SENDER?



and what else is there that i can do...??? im sorry worried..

theres no tracking on this...as USPS tracking is useless as it only tracks to the border.
 
There used to be huge listings on Ebay of unclaimed stuff the postal service couldn't find a home for. It was pretty random, but some good deals here and there. Don't know if they still do that or not.
