yep, as you blink it get pushed in towards the tear ducts by your nose. That's why you get all that gunk in the same area sometimes in the morning.
Don't worry nothing ends up behind you eyes, I've had a contact fold and get stuck behind an eyelid for a while. I finally worked it out, not a fun experience...
