what happens to job and bills when you go to jail for a year?

like your bills, career, etc? what if you have a house or car payment? what if you just signed a contract for 2 years to a cell phone service? Don't know anyone who's been to jail or have any intentions to, but i was just wondering.

Well the obvious thing that would happen is that the bills will keep coming in but eventually after no payment, you would get a disconnect notice and charge. House would get foreclosed, car would get repo'd. And of course, you would lose your job.

More than 1 year in prison = You're fvcked for life. You pretty much have to rebuild as if you were kicked out of your parent's house at 16 without a GED. But this time, you have a criminal record....

I'll shoot myself and do the world a favor of getting rid of one less criminal if I ever went to jail for a year.

Not every criminal go to jail & not every one in jail are criminal.

For most people a year jail time certainly will destroy everything that they own, however corporate criminals may have the capital to last the year long behind bar. Some virus writer gets corporate sponsor if they are caught/jail.

It is possible to be employ a with a criminal record.
