What happens to EVGA stepped up cards?

There must be an influx of EVGA cards from previous owners who stepped up.

What happens to them?

They are also used to support Warranty.....

An 8800 GTS 320 for $75, wish I bought that instead of this 8600.

I've always kind of thought they had someone that sold them on ebay as "new in box", but without a warranty per EVGA's warranty policy. Just a thought though....
