In that case, everyone who bids have potential to be arrested

You won't be arrested if you had no idea it was stolen. The seller will be and whatever you bought can be taken back. So you could loose whatever you spent on the item.

I know because I remember a case when someone had stolen credit cards, was buying bn.com and amazon.com gift certificates online with them and reselling the gc's on eBay. Luckily I didn't purchase anything from him.
