I believe they have until the 6th of Feb. to send it. If you don't receive it in time just use your last pay stub to file your taxes.

Legally, It must be sent by Jan.31..
Chances are it's in the mail. You could call HR and ask, I suppose. If you have not received them by the end of the week, I would ask for copies to be sent.
There are no penalties as far as I can find, for employers who fail to meet the deadline.+3
Each year, employers must send Copy A of Forms W-2 (Wage and Tax Statement) to the Social Security Administration (SSA) by the last day of February (or last day of March if you file electronically) to report the wages and taxes of your employees for the previous calendar year.
In addition, you must give a W-2 to each employee by January 31 (for individual income tax purposes.) W-2s are sent to SSA along with a Form W-3 (Transmittal of Income and Tax Statements).

You don't fill out your W-2, you fill out a 1040 (probably a 1040EZ for you) with the information on the W-2 and send that in with one of the W-2 forms. You can download the 1040 and/or 1040EZ forms from the IRS or pick up copies of them at most post offices.

This is what I was thinking. Legally, it has to be sent out by Jan. 31st.
