What happened to Vonage's unlimited Local plan?

I am pretty sure my plan was for unlimited within my local calling area and 500 minutes long distance per month, now it seems to have changed so that I only get 500 minutes per month, anyone else notice this?

Cooltech,

How long have you had it? How was the quality of the call (sound and clearity)? Have you made any International calls? Please share your experience with us. Thanks.

I've been a Vonage customer for over a year and am generally happy with it, FWIW. Sound quality is indistinguishable from a landline other than an occasional echo. Never made any international calls.

nevermind, found it... bastards "upgraded" the plan to the 24.99/month unlimited plan, what a crock

I'm not sure what you're on about... The $24.99 plan should give you both unlimited local and unlimited LD.

their 14.99 plan used to be unlimited within your local area code cluster, so like your area code and like the surrounding area codes, would be included and they would be unlimited, all for 14.99. They "upgraded" this plan to so-called simplify their pricing structure to the 24.99 nationwide unlimited plan. I call it a ploy to make more money.

Their international LD service is crap. Domestic LD is good though.
