What happened to Urban Terror?

So I was looking for games I could run smoothly on my non-gaming laptop and I came across Urban Terror's website. What happened? I Googled and I can't really figure out what went wrong? Is the project dead? It was such a good game!

????

🙁

what do you mean when you say 'what went wrong'? are you talking bout number of players/servers ? there's still quite an active community for UrT albeit split between 4.1, 4.2 and UrT HD. i suggest sticking with 4.1 as the other versions are still quite buggy.

i still play it everyday. it's a great old school shooter based on the q3 engine.

Okay, so I checked this thread after some time and I was surprised by your reply. So I clicked the link and it seems like everything is back to normal.

And the time of posting, their site had been taken down. No announcements, nothing. Forums were down, source code repository down, EVERYTHING.

Interesting that apparently they just had their source code stolen yesterday.
Methinks this had something to do with it.

Apparently everything is back to normal. That was weird.
