What happened to UBid??

I guess the site is still there, but does anyone still buy from Ubid? I've purchased a refurbished Vaio 4 years ago and it worked out great. Since then I haven't seen/heard of anybody who's bought anything from Ubid.

However, just saw this deal.....

Several years ago I used to go there everyday and have picked up a few things here and there from them including my JVC Dolby Digital reciever and some speakers for my home theater. Since then it's gone completely downhill and turned into a big, steamy pile of dog doo. I make the occassional bored visit there to mock what was once a nice site but even those visits are becoming rarer.

They used to have great deals. Then they started selling junk from other resllers, acting as middleman.

Then they made shipping insanely priced.

Used to buy from UBid but now you can find much better deals elsewhere.
