What Happened to the New BTX Motherboards

The new BTX or whatever boards with ports on the other side that had components organized for better heat management.

Dell has them in the new Optiplexes, but I don't see many motherboards like that.

Its basically an intel thing. They need tons of cooling since their presHOT is a scorcher. It hasnt caught on because the amd dont need it.

No need for BTX unless the power envelope of the CPU is greater than 110 watts. A well-designed ATX case like the Antec SLK3000B will perform better than the generic BTX design.
