Glad to hear that it was helpful to you. I discontinued that thread, but Elite Forum Member John and Elite Forum Member mechBgon have websites that have excellent information on them (mech is geared more towards prevention).

I mainly just maintain an automated malware removal script package these days.

On a different note, in your free programs thread, the link to disabling the popup from Avira was broken too. A quick search revealed this:
