I didn't see them on Hercules' website, and google picks up a Guru3D link...which isn't there. If you can send a link (or AIM file send - cdtlee2000) it to me, I'd greatly appreciate it...

I need the 8.62a Windows 2000 drivers - they seem to work best for me.

Thanks :)

why are you using such old drivers? I've been using the latest drivers for a while and they run really stable for me with windows xp, 98se and 2000.

if your having problems with the latest drivers then please post your problems and maybe someone here knows how to fix them.

Anyway, here is a link to the drivers you requested:-

My current drivers are stable...but my 3dMark score is horrible - 900-something in 2001SE - I did 1496 in 2001 (non-SE). Maybe there's that much of a difference between the versions...not sure.

I'll give this a shot, and see what happens.

edit: eh...941 - didn't really help. Thanks anyways :)
edit 2: 982 with the 15.whatevers - I guess I'll stick with the new ones.

I do know the Kyro II isn't a good 3dmark card, but it did get nearly 1500 on 2001 non-SE..apparently SE is a bit more demanding.

The 15.84 drivers are pretty good, they improve performance in some games but mostly fix problems.

Going back to 3dmark 2001se, your score does seem very low because with a K2 and a 750mhz Duron I get 1690 using the latest drivers which is way ahead of your score.

I do know that Soundblaster Live is a major resource hog but not even that would account for such a large performance hit. I have limited experience with windows 2000 and the best place to get good advice is the paraknowya forum which deals with PowerVR chipsets like the Kyro2, I'm pretty sure there is also some windows 2000 owners there as well.

Another good Kyro forum is the powervr forum which is here:-
