What happened to that Great WinXP FAQ...haven't been here in awhile!?

Hey all...I just wanted to find that WinXP FAQ that had all those great tips from about 2 months ago....haven't really been back here since there...when I do a search I can't find it.

Did someone mirror it somewhere?

I specifically wanted to know

1) how to fix the counter-strike refresh problem?

2) how to COMPLETELY disable that msgr crapola


Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Searching for "XP FAQ" in archived posts I find at least 3 posts asking the same question, with the answer being that the questions were incorporated into the general FAQ.

Couldn't find anything on the Counter-strike refresh rate problem.....any ideas?

Issues with Counter-Strike would probably be more quickly answered in Software or maybe OT (if it doesn't get locked).

As for disabling and removing Messenger, there are FAQs and instructions all over the Net. annoyances.org I believe has the method posted, but if not, use google.
