It seems to me that Taco Bell used to be the place were you could walk in with a five dollar bill and walk out with enough food to feed 5 kids for a week.

But a number 1 value meal (burrito, soft taco supreme, and large drink) cost me nearly 5 dollars alone earlier today.
And choco taco's used to be $1.09, now they are almost 2 dollars.

This is crazy. I feel a taco bell boycott coming on. Their food might be good - but its not that good. :|

i agree, the food is too small for the price, imho. jack in the box is a much better value.

Then do the consumer thing and stop shopping there...if you don't like their food, don't go.

That's the best way to say something to a company

in NoCal Taco bell was running a promo for a taco and a burrito for $.99. That aint too bad, but that promo is now gone.

Taco bell's quality is definatly not too good. For about $4 I can get a whole carton of Chinese food. Can't beat that now can ya?

I always get a kick out how stuffed those tacos are in the promo shots and
how meagre they are when you finally buy them.

If you want maximum bulk for minimum cost then nothing beats a Del Taco 1/2 pound bean and cheese burrito.
I always thought that Taco Bell was on the expensive side as far as fast food goes.

Looks like they made a run for the border, and they're making off with all the cash. :Q

Del taco has some kick ass values. But i'm addicted to the $2 big fat crispy chicken taco :(. for that much (during lunch when they have special deals) I could get like 5 bean burritos/taco's.

KFC is much worse

Me: I want white meat
Baka Employee: gots to check, employee wanders off..... ...... ...... employee wanders back, none left

Plus even on the 1 in 6 times they have white meat extra crispy is soggy

Churchs is much better

I don't know, I'm kinda partial to gray's here in the city. 75cents for a a well done dog with the worx. Too bad they don't have that in jersey.

Ah yes....In Nogales, there's a street vendor who makes the best tacos...3 for 2 dollars. Those puppies fill you up and they taste *fan*tastic

For years I used to get at Wendy's two double stacks for $.99 each, and a biggie fry for $.99. (I'd buy pop at work for $.35). A meal (w/o drink) that used to cost $3.18 w/ tax now costs $4.25 w/ tax, w/o a drink! Ouch. If I'm going to be paying that much I'll just get a mini calzone (which isn't small at all!) from my local deli for $4.50! MMMMMM... :D

I definitaly agree with Taco Bell ....WAY OVERPRICED....
Also how does anyone here feel about Pizza Hut? The quality of their Pizza's has gone suck. I only go to Pappa Johns and Dominos now....much better ingredients and cheaper too. :)

Taco Bell = Laxative

Their jingle should have been, "Make a Run for the Bathroom!"
