What happened to Smart LED on MSI Boards

I bought the MSI K7t Pro2a awhile ago and realized recently it doesn't have the chip on there? Wierd?

Just curious if anyone else has this chip missing.

My MSI K7T Pro2-A has Smart D-LED.

did you get it Retail or OEM. I have built a couple systems with MSI6309 boards. I was sold a OEM board by a on-line retailer (they tried to pass it off as a retail). According to MicroStar support, the OEM version has all overclocking functions disabled & the DLED removed also. It may be the same thing for the AMD side also.
