I love their magazine so much, I kick my self every day I didn't subscribe to them but now I've noticed their magazine has been getting thinner and thinner and it's really disappointing, what do you think of them?

Meh, I've never seen a gaming magazine that was worth reading aside from possibly a couple of pages. Internet FTW!

i think most gamers now get their news on the web.
console mags like EGM on the other hand, are not hurt by the internet as much due to the casual gamers or the non-pc savvy gamers, who still get the news from a mag.

i've been a subscriber to EGM for possibly 10 years, since in JHS. i still like the mag and its the only gaming mag i get. (i get gamepro for free, so doesn't count)

Anyone remember PC Accelerator? Witty, resourceful, and best off all, hot babes on the front cover and on the pages! :D:beer:

lol, indeed. Even my Lego magazines used to be around one-hundred pages or so. Now you're lucky to get twenty.

The last time I went home I picked up the issues I had floating around in the basement. (The final 15 or so.)
Great mag.

i still read PC Gamer or Maximum PC and the like if I'm inside Chapters or another magazine / book store, but I rarely buy them.

there's just too much content on teh intran3ts to be buying magazines for a poor sucker like me! :)

Gaming magazines tend to get really thin around the March and April issues, but get a lot thicker around the December issue. Most of the new games get shipped around Christmas, so that's when you get the most games reviewed.

Hell, most of them even have a special "Holiday" issue just to hold the extra reviews around Christmas.

Less ad revenue for magazines on the whole, I believe. Apart from the girly magazines.

Not that much happening in the gaming world. So unless they write reviews of things that don't exist. There is no content. :/
