What happened to my card?!?

Ok, I just lubricated the buzzing fan on my Gainward GeForce 3, closely following instructions by people that have done it before. I used non-conductive oil made for this type thing. I put my card back in, and now all of a sudden I don't get any video. The computer sounds like its booting ok, and the monitor does not display the no signal box, but all I get is a black screen. What happened?

first thing i would try is to reseat the video card, cpu, & ram. pull out everything else while u're at it. if and when it boots... then stuff everything else back in.
