Bummer he took his site down. I really enjoyed reading his reviews even when the product didnt interest me. Just liked his style and all. I can understand his fustration and anger. I dont agree with his reaction (site being taken down) but I'll respect it. Generally speaking I find folks over here at AT a little more friendly than over at HF. Not that people there arent friendly but I find a few more of them a bit mean in how they respond sometimes than what i see here at AT. Anyway I hope JG decides to carry on his work, reviews and website despite his treatment by a opinionated poster.

I hate to admit it...but I partially helped in his leaving. When someone asked about PC P&C I said it was one of the elite of the elite imo...then johnny came out, quoted, and said they were nothing more than rebadged seasonics...then dave said otherwise...then he left.

You in fact should be proud of what you are using!!

The bottom line is up until a few years ago there were a handful of PSU`s that were considered elite..rebadged or not....
Now th market is vastly different with other brands catching up in terms of quality and workmanship....

What I find interesting is back when PC Power & Cooling was considered one a only a few elite PSU`s....
Why if they are only rebadged did the company that makes PC Power & Cooling PSU`s NOT manufacture one of there own using the exact same specs..etc...etc...
makes you wonder huh?
Which again reinforces alot of peoples opinoon that they actually do change things themselves before they reach the consumer...

We all respect jonny in many ways....
Sure peeps may diagree but there is still that respect that he has earned!!

its unfortunate that he lets clowns like davidhamhock get under his skin. i read him for a couple years at dfi.street and i'd trust jonnyG over him anyday.

Wonder why Jonny hasn't chimed in on this thread?

I find it hard to believe he'd closed down his site just because of one or a couple of people that either didn't like it or said some BS to offend him. Must be more to it than that.

I loved that site. I never saw any PSU review that went in-depth that much and into that much testing. I certainly hope this is some kind of hosting issue or technical issue with his hosts rather than him removing the homepage. His reviews will be really missed.

Though what he said was (to some extent) flame bait, he was reacting to the fanboyism (that ought to be an actual word by now...) surrounding PC P&C. He could've been a little less blunt in his reply, but when you have people making blatant generalisations, it's hard to be nice.

Anyway, i don't know about the rest of you, but his site is up for me. I doubt JG would leave just because of criticism, he's taken much worse before. He does, however, deserve a well-earned break.

Yeah I've only recently found his gem of a website. The good thing is he only does PSU reviews and they're done so regularly, compared to the other good PSU review sites I've found like xbitlabs and spcr. Jonny, come back!
