What happened to Guns N Roses or Axl Rose?

Where is this guy?
The last time I heard about him was Howard Stern saying that he's coming back with a techno album and that was freaking 3 years ago.
I'm thinking he may have lost interests in techno as it's not that popular anymore, unlike those years ago.
That makes to think he might even be coming back with a hip-hop album.
Anyway, where's this guy? what's he doing? How can he possibly manage to keep himself quite? I mean, this guy used to be on news everytime doing something crappy like smashing neighbor's head with a wine bottle.

From what I've heard they're still working on that album. They have a site up but from what I remember it's all retarded. Axl = Slash =

The only problem with the original Guns N Roses was Axel. Too bad they didn't just replace him instead of slowly replacing everyone else in the band.

Axl wanted to take Guns 'N Roses in a new direction against the will of the other band members. They left, and he formed a new band under the GNR name. They were going to release a new album (Chinese Democracy) and go on tour a year or two ago, but neither one materialized.

Slash, Duff and Matt, as mentioned, did various side projects until recently ending up with Scott Weiland in Velvet Revolver.

And they freakin' kick ass!

Y'know, I never really liked STP, and Axl kinda annoyed me at times in G&R. But I love me some Velvet Revolver, lemme tell ya!
