What happened to Google TV?

Flop IMO. I don't know why they tried it... MS tried it a while ago and it flopped almost as hard.
 
They're relaunching it soon.
I kind of like the idea, but cost was high for something that didn't do much more than stream netflix and youtube.
 
The new one will have Honeycomb and the Market with TV-centric apps, which IMO means it'll have the potential to be pretty good.

There are almost no restrictions on apps, so you should be able to get everything from Netflix/Hulu/Vudu/Amazon/Google rentals to torrent apps and tv-centric games.
