What happened to good scissor key keyboards?

Many moons ago I had an awesome Razer Lycosa Mirror Edition.

Sure it didn't last long in typical Razet fashion, but was excellent to type and game on.

Now I'm using a Logitech G510 and it's horrible. I have played with a few friends mechanical keyboards, I just want another scissor key keyboard. i see that Logitech has a few scissor key keyboards, but they are wireless.
