What happened to Free Standard Game Server?

I used to use this program all the time with my friends to play starcraft. (two years ago or so) All of a sudden my friends want to use it to play starcraft again but it's to no avail. WTF happened to it? Someone have a link by any chance or use something similar to it?

Why not just use battle.net. Starcraft costs like a dollar since you all apparently have pirated copies

Nah, they probably like FSGS compared to battle.net

actually, fsgs is a lot quicker. it's trouble free too in terms of logging on and there's no lag. (on my end and my friends too)

Could try BNetW, I've only used it with Diablo II though.

BnetD let you play the beta of War3 and that's when blizzard went all crazy and shut them down. Blizzard got all pissed when people started pirating games that weren't even out yet.
