What happened to file permissions in WinXP???

I'm running winxp pro and there's no file permissions tab, like win2k and win nt used to have. My hard drive is using NTFS, so that shouldn't be an issue. This is pretty weird, unless I'm missing something.
 
Open a folder. Click on the Tools menu, then on folder options. Click the view tab. Scroll to the bottom and uncheck use simple file sharing.
