What happened to Deal Extreme? They suck now......

Just remembering waaaaay back in the day (IIRC they were called something else before they were deal extreme and you felt like you were buying from some back alley warehouse in China) when they used to have some cool stuff and it was CHEEEEEEEaaaap as heeeeeeee/////!!!

Well, now it's far from cheap (at least for anything you'd want) and the stuff ain't even good. It's stuff I could go to Fry's or buy off Amazon for the same or less.

Ebay killed them.
The same factories in China are now accessible to a lot more people. They buy the crap and put it up for sale in Ebay stores. Far more people use Ebay than Deal Extreme

dunno about you, i ordered something recently from dealextreme, and it came in like 5 days to ny. a second order came in 3 weeks, which was the normal time usually for me.
