I loved those game Dead Island, Dead Island Riptide and especially Dying Light & Dying Light The Following.

Even though it lacked gunning it was awesome.
 
it was under development under a few bodies... then some kind of legal thing with Deep Silver and there's still no release date. the game may actually not be in development anymore but I don't think the project is officially canceled yet

Dying Light was much better than DI anyway.

12-31-2017 according to the pre orders on cdkeys.....

however i heard the project is a train wreck of delays, and so i dont expect anything of "quality" to come from a train wreck.
Also the good developers all ran away and made Dying Light, so the dead island project was left with a skeleton of developers in lue of that train wreck.
 
I saw this on cdkeys last year too the release date was 12/31/2016, but I knew it was not real because there was no news of the game at all from any gaming sites.
