I was watching Colin Quinn's "Tough Crowd" tonight, and it occurred to me how far the man has dropped since SNL. Don't get me wrong, I thought he was great as the Weekend Update guy (far better than recent folks), but his show is just painful to watch. The monologue was one of the worst I've ever have the displeasure of viewing, and he can't get a coherent thought out to save his life. The show has a good concept, but the execution is just terrible.

Go back to SNL, Colin. They need you!
 
I watched that once or twice, it is almost as if he isn't even trying...sometimes he has this blank look on his face like he doesn't know what to say, then he just mutters some incoherent nonsense, it's actually kinda entertaining to watch him crash and burn because I never really thought he was overly funny.
 
Colin must really be terrible at reading the que cards. He stumbled on his lines all the time. He doesn't have much tone in his voice either. He sounds like a robot.

I didnt like Colin, but I hate every member of the cast now... especially Jimmy Fallon
 
Norm McDonald OWN3D colin at weekend news update. he was never that funny to begin with. tina and jimmy were grasping for straws. im just glad its not as bad as madtv.
 
Colin sucked at weekened update. Norm McDonald was awesome, I remember Newsweek printing a form letter that you were supposed to cut out and mail to NBC demanding they bring Norm back. I don't mind Colin's new show as much as his Weekend Update. Tina Fey is not so bad, her delivery is pretty good and she's not so bad to look at either.
 
Chevy Chase is and always will be the King of WU. SNL has absolutely sucked since the first and second generations of players left. Have not seen much to recommend watching SNL in the last 15 years at least.
