What happened to Channel 104.9 in the bay area?

105.3 is not one of those clear channel stations so I doubt it. I did like 104.9 more than live105 though.

I noticed that... 104.9 was a decent station, and now there are too damned many spanish stations here.

Clear Channel = suck

Topic Title: What happened to Channel 104.9 in the bay area?

Topic Summary: Used to be alt-rock. Now a spanish music station.

Enjoy

Seriously, how many freakin' spanish stations do we need? I swear there's at least 6 on the dial now, not to mention they snap up all the good stations. Why can't they just start another channel instead of SWITCHING one over? It's like they want us to buy Sirius or something. :|

I would get used to that. I was amazed how many stations were hispanic when I was out in Santa Cruz earlier this fall.

Sheesh... California might as well secede from the USA and become a part of Mexico at this rate.

That sucks. It was one of the better stations in the area. If they ever switch Live 105, I'm just going to get satellite radio.

I think that was the same channel as 96.7 here in the central valley. Switched to spanish about a week or two ago i think. That was the only rock station that came in remotely clear, guess I might have to get Sat radio 🙁
