What Happened to Bill Mahr?

I used to watch his show "Politically Incorrect" but nowadays its anything but. His format has moved from a balance of views to 4 on 1 Bill and 3 guests vs one. Hollywood really caught up with this guy. He hates Everything Repubican and he is using his show as a blunt political ax he swings around any time he gets angry.
Last night I ran across it and I thought "Ok I'll give him another chance"

What does the guy do? He praises a book that wants to raise the minimum wage to 20 dollars an hour (and for those of you who think its a good idea, think about what would happened to inflation. Its just another feel good idea with no thoughts to the extreme rammifications if it was implemented) and he pounced on a book written by a conservative about morality.

I dont really care if he is that biased, but if you are, SAY you are.

In General Patton's immortal words (speaking about General Montgommery in WWII)

"Hell I know I'm a premodonna, I admit it, what I cant stand about Monty is that he Wont admit it"

Just out of curiosity, did you see that show last night?

And if you are a Republican, how can you stomach his constant Bush attacks? I've yet to this day heard one good thing Bill has said about Bush.

I preferred the old format, as seen on cable-TV. On network he has to gone for a more superficial "entertainment" show, content has suffered.

That is the most unwatchable show on TV. If you want to listen to Hollywood's view of the world every night, Mahr is the person to turn to. The show does help to explain some of the crap that hollywood puts out.

<< ...and I like to hear the stupid points the Liberals in CA raise each night :) >>

LOL point taken.

Hmmmm I liked the A-Team. I wonder if that is considered a Republican show by Mahr because it glorified guns ;)

Everyone now relive the glorious A-Team intro.

I'll start it out. "In 1972 a Crack Commando group was sent to a military court for a crime they didnt commit....." :D

>hes the weakest link. <

I'd like to see a contestant say that to the chick from England...the show blows, to me, and I don't think it'll last much longer.

LOL. I personally never cared for the tard. But the show used to be amusing. I loved it when Marilyn Manson was on there. That was good stuff. Oh, and the A-Team rules!:D

I personally think Mahr has no ideals of his own. He merely takes a stand that is contrary to whatever the current president's is, in order to be revolutionary. Its all for ratings...Mahr is nowhere near a serious political figure. He is on the same level as Rush Limbaugh.

yeah, most of his jokes about Clinton were light hearted and not too serious. His jokes about Bush are mean spirited, and most of them are not very funny. They're just ham handed variations of "ugh Bush is dumb hehe."

And his show always stacks the deck, 3 liberals, 2 of which are loud mouthed celebrities, and himself, vs one conservative. And to make matters worse, he often finds the dumbest most southern sounding conservative he can find.

Luckily for me, syndicated rerun episodes of The Simpsons are on at the same time as PI so I never watch too much of it.

I've tried to watch it, but I just cannot tolerate how they let such an incredibly ugly man be so mean to people on TV(regardless of his bias).
Heck in my country, he'd have rotten vegetables thrown at him, which would make the show a lot more interesting;):D

Its amazes me how such an incredibly ugly man, inside and out, can be so judgemental when it comes to whats hot and whats not in women.

You would have to be ten different kinds of desperate to want to climb that pole.

I would like to have seen the interaction between Manson and Mahr. :)

Rush? LOL Rush doesn't react contrary to what the current president is so I dont see your point there. And Rush is a far better speaker. You may not agree with him but he is much better at presenting his argument than Mahr could ever be. I counted 4 times last night when Mahr was nailed to the wall that he either changed the subject or began to talk with someone else. Remeber, Rush's show is still the #1 Rated Radio show in the country.

Although I do agree that he will do some of that for ratings his face just reeks with disgust for anything conservative in nature now. Hollywood really got to him.

I would give real money to see Bill O'Reily on there again. He ate Mahr's sack lunch last time he was on.

Tex: a little brainwashed arent we dittohead? Rush sticks to being against liberals...but he has 0 merit. He uses made up facts to further his idiotic ramblings. I am a conservative and am ashamed that Rush is a "figure head" for conservatives. He is a pathetic, overweight, idiot. He probably loves baby Bush to death...they are like twins seperated at birth.

Cheney should have been the presidential candidate.

Mahr also has the most stupid, young audiences who cheer for every stupid liberal idea that they put on there.

I also enjoyed the show when it was on Comedy Central. Then it was usually a more balanced show. Plus, most of the stuff Bill was saying was thought out and it didn's sound like he was reading a cue card. Also, he came off as more conservative. Wait, what he was saying was thought out... more conservative... hmmm? :)
