What happened to all the bfbc servers?

there was a pretty big update to BC2 last week. Perhaps you haven't patched so the version is different between your client and servers?

I noticed a lot of [Invalid] clan tags! I forgot about the big update last week.

It's the servers that haven't updated, as after I got the update I noticed the same thing. I've been slowly seeing more come back, but not as many as there were.

That happens when you don't have a clan tag and you use the autologin. At least, it does for me. Manually logging in with a blank tag fixes it. I find this totally hilarious though, because the patch was supposed to fix autologin to remember tags, and they didn't bother testing without them? Or something.

I've actually seen several people running around with [valid] clan tags, which I assume means they thought it was funny and modified it slightly.
