What happened to 3com's webcams?

Did someone buy out 3com's webcams? They are really hard to find and they're no longer even listed on 3com's site.
 
They decided to quit producing them. Profit margin was too thin, apparently...

You should still be able to find them available at many B&M and online stores, until they run out.
