This was by far one of my favorite games. Has there not been anything released since like 2005 with SSX 3? Anything in the works for the PS3?

Blur was released on the Wii early last year.
Nothing since then... no real news.

There was the SSX: On Tour, which also allowed you to ski. Then there was SSX: Blur, which I own for the Wii and got it when I bought the system, but still haven't played it (along with Zelda, which I do intend to play eventually).

what?

Before the 80GB PS3 turns into an "upgraded" 40GB and has no BC. Blu-ray player for me and the SSX games for my wife. :)

No problem. Sony kind of forced my hand with their E3 announcement. I was planning on waiting until the fall for the supposed cooler & quieter PS3.

LOL! Thanks, I'm pretty sure I bought and beat that one too. Forgot about that.

Still would love to see something on the PS3 that was as fun as SSX3. I know I had to have had a few 100 hours in that game.

Yeah, after SSX 3 came SSX On Tour. 3 was phenominal, one of my favorite games. On Tour was...lacking...alot. They tried to make it "hip" or something and it failed misreably.

If I still had my gamecube I'd hook 3 back up and game some.

I agree, they sort of ruined the series with On Tour. The game didn't feel the same at all. SSX 1-3 were all great.

what version you got? 60gb version supposedly works fine, 80gb version randomly crashes.

80 gig MGS4 bundle. Maybe I can write my senator or something to force EA to make another SSX3, but better.

SSX games are working great on our shiny & new 80GB.

ssx tricky was kind of crappy. That song didn't help. It had few stages worthwhile. ssx3 was far superior.

Funny thing was i was thinking about how awesome SSX is when this thread showed up. The game leaves a pretty good impression on you, even better when it was one of your first games.
