The other week I realized, that lately it's been pretty easy to see that some companies just aren't going to make it. Why not short their stock?

Anyway, did this site go belly up over legal concerns or something? I guess I missed it.

I thought the same thing... but then thought that if I wait for the company to have the rumors about it hitting the web, it's too late.

If I had some money for the market right now, I think I'd put it towards the nasdaq (QQQ) or something like that.

The idea of shorting a stock is appealing though. I think if you give it some time, you'd make some cash with about 90% of the e-commerce companies out there. Look at their business model. How long could a regular 'brick and mortar' type store operate like they do, before having to shut their doors?
