While I agree with your statement and try to separate politics from entertainment, Springsteen is known for using his music for political endorsements. If he doesn't want to be judged for his politics, he shouldn't mix them with his music.

Having said that, I'll be watching the Boss as long as he plays his good songs (aka, nothing post-The Rising).
